CARBON SINK ART PROJECT :
We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the BCAC

Phase 1
phase 2
decarbonizing by carbonizing
‘transformation- understanding the world as process and not a fact” W.K.
And so our world keeps on being transformed by carbon, in my studio and atmosphere and therefore everything and everywhere. What do think? What to do? Reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the studio, in the making of art, in our daily choices, in     everything and everywhere
In my Carbon Sink Art Project, I make bio char in my living room wood stove, process the charcoal into inks, paints and experimental casting materials. This project has led me to exploring paper making from found materials and alternate mark making surfaces.          this project has changed my life
